Ben Gibbard – When the Sun Goes Down

Back at the beginning of March Ben Gibbard played a show in San Francisco at which he played the title track from the new Death Cab For Cutie album, Codes and Keys. As well as that he also played a few brand spanking new solo track this being one of them, “When The Sun Goes Down”. Below you can now check out the studio version of the track in full. A light guitar line with a galloping percussion arrangement in the back ground thrown in with some vibey lead riffs in the middle, it makes for a nice wind down track. Sit back and watch the sun setting on your Friday evening. If you have to wait a while go finish your errands and come back when it is time, because this track will soundtrack that moment perfectly.

I’ve never been a big Foo Fighters fan even though I really like Dave Grohl.I’m really liking this new album though. Its nice to hear Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic together again.Novoselic is not only slapping the bass on this joint but playing accordion too.Plus I’m pretty sure the song itself is about Cobain so the chorus becomes pretty eerie.

Mobb Deep featuring Nas – “Dog Shit” produced by Havoc and Alchemist.Twitter: @TheRealHavoc @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP.Not a horrible track but I was expecting alot better from the 3 of them after such a hiatus.Nothing special to me, but it might serve as a decent track if your into working out or feel like stabbing someone in the face.I was hoping Nas would of came stronger and more grown on the lyrics along with a post prison P.Oh well.
