Phonte and Zo! unleashed this gem last night via the net.I’m a huge Phonte fan.Not only cause the guy makes great music and seems to be able to do it all as far as singing, rhyming, jokes that are funnier then most stand ups, radio host, etc etc.Its because the guy honestly seems to have fun making music and that translates into his music. And whats great is you can actually tell the guy is a fan of music himself by the way he does tracks like this.I salute him.I’m really feeling this track. The original got on my nerves but at the same time was kind of always a guilty pleasure of mine when no one was around. It was not only of Mark Morrisons corny Akon voice before Akon it was that combined with a beat I could envision playing at the parents of those kids in the Sunny D commercials. The shit was disco jokes.I guess it was kind of so bad it was good in a way.But that wore thin. And the sad thing is Da Beatminerz remixed it back in the day and couldn’t even save it.You can peep their remix after the jump.Shout out to Phonte and Zo.Keep doing your thing.Hopefully you guys makea I Love The 90’s type album like you did a few years ago for the 80’s.That shit was and would be great.
Good Peoples,On a breezy Sunday afternoon in North Carolina, me and my brother Zo! took to the studio to clown around and pay homage to one of the greatest
late 90’s white people club songs ever.

Mark Morrison – Return Of The Mack [Da Beatminerz Remix] Featuring Shadez Of Brooklyn
I’m not sure really on the origins of why Da Beatminerz did this then probably label politics or promotion. But I always thought this was one of those rare 90’s Underground Hip Hop meets the mainstream gems like Bobby Browns Marley Marl remix with Tragedy Khadafi & Mic Geronimo. It always bugged me out to hear The usual grimy as fuck Shadez Of Brooklyn I was so use to hearing with the gritty as fuck tracks on Stretch & Bobbito rhyme after Self appointed Mack Mark Morrison.Funny I never knew Mark Morrison looked like that till I downloaded the cover just now.Dude looks like Adeebesi From Oz’s brother.Watch out he’s gonna make you a soldier.Maybe he actually is a mack.It looks like he’ll make you hold his pocket 😦
***New Music Continues***
Sade – I Would Have Never Guessed
4th leak of unreleased material from Sade’s The Ultimate Collection which drops May 3rd.I’m not sure if she is that great or most music I’m hearing nowadays is cheeks but all 4 songs that were leaked are awesome. The thing is she is that great and I’m surprised these songs weren’t on Soldier Of Love.I liked the album but it could of used these tracks to make it a even better album..This track is pretty downbeat and probably could of been played at Arnold Jackson Drumonds pet fish Abraham’s funeral on Different Strokes but that fact makes it even more heart felt. And this is a great song nevertheless in my opinion.
The Antlers – Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out
