Raphael Saadiq – Movin Down The Line

Death Cab For Cutie first single, “You Are A Tourist,” from their upcoming album Codes and Keys.

This song is a cover of Betty Everett who is most famous for “The Shoop Shoop Song”. This recording reunites me and my father, Syl Johnson for his upcoming project tentatively titled “The Rebirth Of Soul” featuring artists of today singing vintage soul music. Originally recorded in 1969, this is Rhythm & Blues in its purest form. It’s a rough mix. Enjoy and thank you all so much

Philly emcee/producer/songwriter Hezekiah is teaming with San Diego singer/songwriter iSHE’ to create experimental soulful duo ishe + hezekiah. You should all know Hezekiah by now. I originally took note of iSHE’s impressive vocals on her collab with Hez’s sister, Keziah, and Oddisee. ishe + hezekiah’s collabo project will be out June 1st. In the meantime, check below for their lead single, “Stand Guard.”
