I’m not really feeling anything new out their. So here are a few gems I’ve been listening to lately.
The B-side to the “Gotta Have You” single was “Feeding Off The Love Of The Land”, which was played during the end credits of the movie Jungle Fever but was not included on the soundtrack. A piano and vocal version of “Feeding Off The Love Of The Land” was also released on the Nobody’s Child: Romanian Angel Appeal compilation. It is rumored that “Feeding Off The Love Of The Land” was originally intended for release on Fulfillingness’ First Finale Volume Two, a project that has never been confirmed as completed.

Pretty awesome blend of Marvin Gaye’s song Forver blended perfectly with The Marvelettes version. It doesn’t sound like it is too different versions at all.I thought it was done great by who ever did it.If I didn’t know any better I would of thought it was a duet.

This is the ultra-rare DJ Spinna remix of “Poetry” by The RH Factor (Roy Hargrove) featuring Erykah Badu and Q Tip. The original version of this song appears on the album “Hard Groove”. This version was released as a promo CD on Verve Records. Trevor Nelson used to play it on the “menage a trois” section of his Rhythm Nation show!
